Thank you for visiting Origins by Loving Coastal Living, where our passion for shells and corals began! Please allow 24–48 hours for responses as we balance both our physical storefronts and our online shop.

Our Port Aransas, Texas location:

We’d love for you to SEA us in person and browse our seashells, corals, and coastal treasures. Please note that during Hurricane Season, responses and shipping may be delayed.

Returns & Exchanges

We gladly accept returns on most items, with these conditions:

  • Contact us within 3 days of delivery
  • Ship items back within 7 days of delivery
  • Exclusions: No exchanges or cancellations

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their nature, we cannot accept returns unless damaged or defective:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable items (e.g., food, flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate/hygiene-sensitive items
  • Sale items

Returns Policy

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping
  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns
  • Custom and sale items are non-returnable
  • Unauthorized returns incur a 25% restocking fee

We recommend purchasing shipping insurance. Items must be returned in resellable condition.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 3 business days
  • Keep all packaging and take photos
  • Items must be returned before a refund or replacement is issued

We insure all packages and will handle claims for you.

Shipping Information

Domestic Orders

We ship via USPS or FedEx based on size and value. Insurance is included for USPS Priority/Express and all FedEx shipments. USPS First Class does not include insurance.

Processing Times

  • Standard: 3–5 business days
  • Custom/Wedding/Vintage Coral: 4–7 business days
  • Made-to-order: 6–10 business days depending on demand

Rush Shipping & Processing

  • Rush processing available for an added fee
  • Rush fee covers priority handling, not shipping costs
  • Shipping is billed separately based on carrier rates

Returned Shipments & Address Changes

  • Returned shipments (incorrect address): reship for an additional fee or refund with a 20% restocking fee
  • Address changes: we’ll try to update before shipment, but cannot guarantee corrections. If errors occur, we are not responsible for misdeliveries. We can instead cancel and refund, so you may reorder with the correct details.

We care about the ocean we love and use recycled and biodegradable packaging whenever possible. We take extra care with fragile shells and corals so your treasures arrive safe and ready to enjoy.
